Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

Seasons of You Therapy (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit our website and interact with our services. It applies to information collected through this website only — it does not govern information collected during the course of clinical care, which is subject to our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices provided separately at the start of treatment.

By using this website, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly

When you submit a contact form, book a consultation, or download a free guide, you may provide your name, email address, phone number, and a brief description of what brings you in. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry or deliver the resource you requested.

Guide downloads and email opt-ins

When you download a free guide, your email address is collected and added to our email list managed by FLODESK. You will receive the requested guide and may receive occasional related communications from Seasons of You Therapy. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.

Automatically collected information

When you visit this website, certain information is collected automatically, including your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and time on site. This information is collected through cookies and similar technologies and used to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it.

2. Third-Party Service Providers

We work with the following third-party services to operate this website and deliver our services. Each has its own privacy policy governing how they handle your data.

Therapy Notes — Contact forms and appointment scheduling are processed through Therapy Notes, a HIPAA-compliant practice management platform. Information submitted through these forms is encrypted and handled in accordance with HIPAA requirements.

FLODESK — Email delivery and list management for guide downloads and communications are handled by FLODESK. Your email address is stored securely and used only to deliver requested content and relevant updates from Seasons of You Therapy.

STRIPE — Payment processing is handled by STRIPE. We do not store your credit card or payment details on our servers. All transactions are encrypted and processed by STRIPE in accordance with PCI DSS standards.

Google Analytics — We use Google Analytics to collect anonymized data about how visitors interact with this website, including pages viewed, time on site, and general location. This data does not identify you personally. You may opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on.

Meta (Facebook/Instagram) — We may use Meta’s advertising pixel to measure the performance of advertising campaigns and understand how visitors interact with the site after seeing an ad. If active, this tool may collect anonymized behavioral data. You can manage your ad preferences at Meta’s Privacy Center.

3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

This website uses cookies — small text files stored on your device — to support site functionality and analytics. Types of cookies used include:

•  Essential cookies: required for the website to function (e.g., form security tokens).

•  Analytics cookies: used by Google Analytics to collect anonymized usage data.

•  Marketing cookies: may be used by Meta to support advertising measurement.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect site functionality. A cookie consent notice is displayed on your first visit in accordance with applicable law.

4. Website Data vs. Clinical Records

This Privacy Policy governs information collected through this website only. It does not replace our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, which governs how clinical records, session notes, and protected health information (PHI) are handled during the course of treatment.

The contact form on this website is not a secure clinical communication channel and should not be used to transmit sensitive health information. Existing clients with clinical matters should communicate through Therapy Notes or another secure channel provided by their therapist.

This website is not monitored for crisis situations. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, please call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or go to your nearest emergency room.

5. Your Privacy Rights (California Residents)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) provides you with specific rights regarding your personal information, including:

•  The right to know what personal information we collect, use, and share.

•  The right to request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.

•  The right to opt out of the sale of your personal information. We do not sell personal information.

•  The right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the information below. We will respond to verified requests within 45 days.

6. Data Retention

We retain website-collected information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy. Email addresses collected via guide downloads are retained until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics’ default retention settings (14 months). You may request deletion of your information at any time.

7. Children’s Privacy

This website is not directed to individuals under the age of 18 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

8. Links to Other Websites

This website may contain links to third-party websites (for example, cms.gov or resource pages). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their policies before providing any personal information.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
