Postpartum & Maternal
Mental Health

Becoming a mother is one of life’s most profound thresholds.
What happens to you in the crossing deserves just as much care.

Symptoms

  • Postpartum depression or anxiety that makes presence feel impossible.
  • Intrusive thoughts that feel too heavy to say out loud.
  • A loss of identity. The sense that you have disappeared into the role of mother.
  • Difficulty bonding with your baby, even though your love is real.
  • Relationship strain that arrived with the baby and has not left.
  • Appearing fine on the outside while the inside is a different story.

Postpartum therapy is a space where the full landscape of your experience is welcome, including the parts that feel impossible to admit. Together we will process the emotional and identity shifts of new motherhood, develop tools to navigate anxiety and overwhelm, strengthen your sense of self alongside your role as a mother, and work through the relational rhythms that may have shifted.

This is for
you if…

  • You are a new mother navigating more than you expected.
  • You love your baby and are still finding this harder than you thought.
  • You are not sure what you are feeling, only that something is off.
  • You want a space where you can be honest without judgment.

FAQ

Is what I am feeling postpartum depression, or something else?
Postpartum experiences exist on a spectrum, from the baby blues to postpartum anxiety to depression. You do not need to arrive with a diagnosis. We will figure it out together.
How soon after birth can I start therapy?
Whenever you are ready. There is no waiting period. If you are struggling now, now is the right time.
What if I feel guilty for struggling?
That guilt is one of the first things we work through. Struggling does not make you a bad mother. It makes you a human being in a significant season and one who deserves support.
