Couples
Therapy
Every relationship has seasons.
The ones worth keeping are worth navigating together.
Symptoms
-
Communication that keeps breaking down
at the same places. - Distance that has grown slowly and now feels too wide to cross alone.
-
Trust that has been damaged and needs
a supported space to repair.
- A major transition — new baby, career shift, loss — that has altered your rhythm.
- Different needs or visions for the future that feel impossible to reconcile.
-
A good relationship you both want to deepen
and make more intentional.
This is for
you if…
-
You love each other and are struggling
to find your way back to each other. - You want a space that is neutral not taking sides.
- You are ready to do honest, careful work together.
- You want to come out of this with something stronger than what you had.
FAQ
Do both partners need to be equally ready?
Not necessarily. Couples often arrive at different levels of readiness. Therapy creates a space for both to be heard and often, the readiness grows once the conversation begins.
Is couples therapy only for couples in crisis?
Not at all. Many couples come to therapy to deepen a good relationship, navigate a major transition, or get ahead of patterns they can see developing. Proactive couples therapy is some of the most effective.
What approach do you use for couples?
I use Integrative Behavioral Couple Therapy (IBCT) as a foundation, an evidence-based approach that balances acceptance with meaningful behavioral change. I also draw from CBT and emotionally focused techniques depending on what each couple needs.
